Bob Lutz Memorial Service
[8 Sep 2001] - Over 50 years ago, Bob Lutz, Robbie Robertson and others, thought that cavers would prefer to have a good party out in the country.  In keeping with that tradition of 52 years we plan to honor Bob with a memorial service on October 6, 2001.  Those who knew Bob are invited by family and friends to a celebration of his lifetime.  Please contact Sharon at 304-594-2318 or by email at brinkman@access.mountain.net.

Blenz's Boilers
[8 Sep 2001] - This year you can thank Dick Blenz for the hot water in the showers.  Dick donated $5,000 toward the purchase of new hot water heaters to replace our aging boilers.  Thanks to Dick and Doug Gary for having hot water for us this year.  The boiler room is now named after Dick.

Take your own reading material into the potty! So sorry, but ALL signs will be removed from potties by the Potty Poster (that's "PP") Patrol.

Nominations for OTR2001 awards.
07-08-2001

In the year 2000 a plan was instituted to recognize some of our most valued members.  These are the people who have dedicated countless years of their lives to make OTR what it is today.  They have organized, constructed, maintained, pounded nails, cut grass, dug ditches, run contests, and all with an understanding that their hard work would benefit the cavers who attend OTR.  It's for these people and for their commitment to TRA that these two awards were created.  More...

Welcome to the New Millennium
10-01-2000

As we enter the next millennium, we celebrate the 51st OTR.  This was Vic Wards' second and final year as chair.  It's difficult to out do yourself when you were responsible for the blowout 50th year of OTR celebration last year.  This year came close though.  The big name band was none other than the famous "Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen" which played on Saturday night to a packed pavilion.  The band was sponsored by the Commander Cody Grotto. [more]
