Welcome
to the New Millennium
As we
enter the next millennium, we celebrate the 51st
OTR. This was Vic Wards' second and final year as
chair. It's difficult to out do yourself when
you were responsible for the blowout 50th year of OTR celebration
last year. This year came close though.
The big name band was none other than the famous "Commander
Cody and the
Lost Planet Airmen" which played on Saturday
night to a packed pavilion. The band was
sponsored by the Commander Cody Grotto. [more]

Nostalgia Section With
the 50th OTR, and NSS 2000 Convention out of the way, we are
able to concentrate our time and effort toward providing you
with more and timely information about OTR. We are
beginning with a round up of the past reunions. Since 2000
and 1999 were still fresh memories
they were first. Hopefully photos from the past years
will jog our collective memories and we will be successful at
summarizing the previous 50 reunions too. Comments,
corrections and contributions are always welcomed.
Please email news@otr.org.
TRA
Grants The TRA board has voted to distribute 50% of any OTR profits as grants for cave related projects. Grants are only given to non-profit organizations and groups.

PANORAMIC PHOTO
Due to scheduling conflicts
the panoramic photo was not taken at OTR this year.
It is expected to be taken next year.
TRA
Election Results This
year we had Don Conover, who ran on the platform "The
Feet" was reelected for a third term. A.J. Goslin
was elected to the board for his first time, and with these
two people in supporting roles within TRA we expect good
things to happen. We also have Leecee Molina Deem and
Paul "P.D." Drennan both serving their second of a
two year term. |
