Over the years
we have been fortunate to have the creative skills of
some panoramic photographers.
Doug Chadwick using his antique rotating Cirkut
Camera has taken many panoramic photo of OTR, NSS Convention. Lately
Carroll Bassett has taken up where Doug left off using digital
technology.
During the event everyone
gathers in a crowd, and the camera pans around the crowd. This
event produces a photograph 10" high by 3 1/2 to
5 feet long. There
are many surprises in these photos. You never know
who's going to show up 5 different times, or as a blur. Can
you find yourself in this photo, or were you asleep in
your tent that year.

Doug takes photos at many
different caving events, and you can order past photos from
him. Photos cost between $30 and $45 each,
professional framing is available at an additional
