OTR Survey

Did you get a chance to notice all of the changes during this year's Old Timers Reunion?  There were so many differences, it is difficult to list them all.  We tried hard to make this a very special reunion, and we received many positive comments during OTR. With a group of people this size it's difficult to hear from everyone, but we would like to hear what you though. So this is your chance to tell us what you liked and didn't like this year. Was the band too loud, was the beer cold enough, did it rain too much (well some things we can't do anything about). Please feel free to make any suggestions for changes to the future reunions.

MUSIC

Old Timers wouldn't be the same without music.  The OTR staff goes out of their way to arrange for bands who play a variety of music, and on nights without a band we are entertained by the OTR DJ.  What did you think?  Would you like to see a specific band at future reunions?  Do you have any other suggestions for bands.  It's been a long time challenge for the OTR to try and please everyone with the choice of music.  Please rate the bands below:

Poor --- Great N/A Music Selection
1 2 3 4
Live Band
OTR's favorite slice of bluegrass, "Buzz City Grotto & Friends"

Suggestions for other bands (please include contact information) or comments about bands above:

Food and Refreshments

OTR has it's own special variety of food and refreshments.  Many people enjoy their own special variety of home cooked meals, or venture out to the local food establishments in town.  For those who don't make it off of the site, and would prefer to partake in the local vendors we would like to have your comments.

Poor --- Great N/A Food Vendors
1 2 3 4
The food wagons - providing 24 hour service including breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner quick service.
The Lions Club - chicken dinner.
Cooters - OTRs' own corner pub.
Brew Crew - Free Refreshments during the party's.

Free Refreshments

This year, we continued to provide a variety of choices in our free refreshment selection.  Free refreshments are provided in the pavilion during the party.  We currently serve Coke products and a variety of flavors of beer provided by the Miller beer distributors.  The Coca-Cola products included: Surge, Mellow Yellow, Coke, Caffeine Free Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Caffeine Free Coke, Sprite, Ice tea, Root beer, etc.  The Miller beer products included: Miller, Killians Red, Coors Light, Red Dog, Ice House, MGD, a microbrew Dark, Ginness Stout (at Cooters), and others.  Out of this selection we will have no less than 4 different flavors available.  There were a few requests to have bottled water available, as well as some non-alcoholic beer.  Based on these requests we have included them in the list of beverages we have at OTR.  In the table below please indicate which brands of refreshments you would like to see in future years.  If you would like to see a specific non-alcoholic or near-beer in the future, please specify a brand in the comment section.  As always, if you have no comment for a specific selection, please mark it as N/A.

OTR Policy - What do you think?

No Pets
In 1999 OTR established a "no pets during OTR" policy.  This was done after a number of incidents had been reported involving pets of all types.

Early Arrival
In 2001 OTR starts phasing in the enforcement of the "no early arrivals on site unless you are on a work crew" policy.  This has been the policy for years, only it was loosely enforced.  In 2002 the policy takes full effect.

No Roping Off
In 2002, OTR initiates a plan to try and control the amount of space people use during the reunion.  This was in response to the MANY people who complained about the large areas that were roped off early in the weekend for later arriving friends and grotto members.
